Plagiarism Policy
Sahata: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat strictly prohibits plagiarism in all forms. All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure originality.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text, ideas, or data from other sources without proper citation.
- Paraphrasing without acknowledgment of the original source.
- Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
- Self-plagiarism (reusing one's own previously published work without proper citation).
Similarity Check
All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin. The similarity index must not exceed 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.
Consequences of Plagiarism
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
- Notification to the authors' institution if necessary.
- Blacklisting of authors for future submissions (in severe cases).
